Biography
Tonny Lasar was born in Korinthos in 1982, where his musical journey began at the age of fifteen - working as a radio producer in a local station named 'elektra'. Three years later he moved to Kalamata to study 'financial and insurance sciences' where he set up the Lunatic Team residency, collaborating with established Greek and international Djs.
Tonny's Mediterranean, passionate style of performance has gained much notoriety as his shows, ranging from Cavo paradiso - Mykonos, Space – Mykonos, Fuzz, Fetisch, Loop, Wunderbar – Athens and other hotspots around Greece.
He has also been invited to perform for international gigs across the globe such as in Rocket/London, Mangali/Berlin, Our park/Berlin, Pulp mansion/Berlin, Zementgarten/Berlin,Unkul-Alte weberei/Berlin and like radio guest in Vuelo nocturno radio show/Argentina (KSKradio) ,Freaky monkey show/Paris (Radio one)...
Tonny Lasar's music is the amalgamation of different sounds. Deep house, techno, breakbeats have all served to fuel his fascination for diverse and dynamic sound-design and have created a layered sound and uniquely established style.
